Charlotte Eve Trudeau (born April 30, 1987) is a Canadian actress and singer. She began her career as a stage actor in theatre productions in Montreal, Quebec. Trudeau is best known for her roles as Beca in the Pitch Perfect film series and Jessica in The Twilight Saga.

Trudeau has two younger sisters, musician Fiona, best known by the stage name Sacré Bleu, and 3RD TRUDEAU SISTER.

career At the age of fifteen, Trudeau began auditioning for theatre productions in Montreal, she found some success in local productions. Upon graduation from secondary school at the age of seventeen, Trudeau attended university at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec for a full year; during this time she continued to appear in productions in local Montreal theatre, as well as campus productions. She then transferred to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where she attended for a semester. It was during this semester that Trudeau lived with 1ST ROOMMATE, who encouraged Trudeau to audition for area television, film and theatre productions. It was during this time that, Trudeau was cast as Jessica Moore in the television series, Supernatural’s pilot episode; a role she would return to play throughout the next several years.

Trudeau left the University of British Columbia at the end of the semester and moved to Los Angeles in winter of 2005 to pursue acting full time. In the months that followed Trudeau enrolled in classes at the University of California, Los Angeles and continued to audition for roles in television and film with little success until she accepted the role of Jessica Stanley in the Twilight series; Trudeau had originally auditioned for the role of Bella Swan. This role marked a turning point in Trudeau’s career as an actress.
